    started a topic 1990 w124-ce

    1990 w124-ce

Started on the new, to me, 24v coupe I picked up not too long ago.

When I picked up the car, neither of the front seat motors worked at all. Pulled everything out only to find each and every motor corroded into one piece. Wish I had picture of them now, but I was so pissed at the time, I trashed them. I ended up buying a pair of 1999 C230K front seats and not only built brackets to mount them but also went ahead and made wiring adapter harnesses. The harnesses my not sound to bad to make but they also control telescoping steering wheel, comfort power windows, seat belt arms, passenger power mirror, & the memory positions (1 & 2) for all these. If anyone ever wants to consider doing this in their own 124, DON'T! Sell the fucking car and cut your loses lol.

Next: Fixed a saggy exhaust, wheel bearings, sway bar bushing, etc., etc., boring maintenance.

Starting this week: Begin audio install and begin making the trunk setup for the air. Oh yea, going air on this. lol.

More pics later on today of the car, and updates soon to come.

    As always, looking for wheels!
