I like where this is going so far. I'm not hugely pushed on the military theme but I'm interested to see where its heading

Good to see another Irish member on here, you should join bmw-driver.net if you're not already that is

my diff has been winning very bad so decided to change the oil and im glad i did the stuff was black!!
Bad picture but u get the idea and there is not a sound out off it now

And then this happened recovered the rear parcel shelf to continue the theme im building up

its a bit mad but i like it and i have more planned to tie it all into the overall theme of the car

ha i hear ya , no i will not be rusting the whole car just the one panel thats beyond repair anyway. Thats as far as it will go

Have a few cool ideas for some other bits but just college and lack of money getting in the way.

The car needs a full re-spray if its ever going to look mint and at the minute i just dont have the funds for that so im going go for abit of a military theme and play off the rough looking paint until i have more time to really get it looking mint.

I have a new wing to put on because the current one is beyond repair so again im just playing off the rough look, i know i have a reliable car underneath so im happy at the minute

its been a good while since i updated this ,but with college and work i barley get any time at it which is annoying.

since last updated got the rear coilovers in and new rear wheel bearings.

i have a new passanger wing to go on so just letting the old one rust see how it looks for a while

had a change of plans for the wheels

Decided to take all the lining out off the boot and have started cleaning it up , i have a 5th bbs ill prob throw in or im going throw a sub in

    then the goodies arrived

    started the strip down

    old vs new

    deff needed a change

hopefully get them all changed and that will be one more job off the list.

does the 325 have a bigger antiroll bar, would it be worth getting one as im going get poly bushings for it so i could get bigger ones?:thumb:

they were 17inch alpina reps and i just don't like them at all so swapped the 4 off them for 5 of the standard bbs with centre caps. ill see how i go anyway there only going be my wheels until i get some the other stuff sorted hopefully.

its a bigger strut that slides in to the standard housing with upgraded spring and it has the adjustment collers its only about a 60mil drop and its about a 300e system but i had broken springs and bad shocks so i wanted low and this kit will do for the time being!!!

its called pro sports kit ill have to get the rears in and see how it rides but it will be dialed down as far as it can go

Seems like a clever system since no welding is involved on the strut.. but how much can you lower with this setup? Otherwise you could simply also get some dampers and springs.
