I dunno either or it doesn't really matter. I'll prolly powder the centers gold or maybe even white, and sand and polish the lips. It might be a while though because of the tire situation, but I'm not going to worry about it, looks mighty fine the way it is for now.

Here is what a 205/40/17 Falken 512 tire looks like on a 17x8. Any other tire will stretch almost not at all. But that's okay, you don't need stretch on a 17x8, you can just have flush fitment and skip the worries of poke. Unless you really love it(I guess like me haha)
That's what I'm leaning towards,(a more mellow fitment would suit my car better anyway). My style 5s have 45s on it right now, so need to get rid of those. I am going to test fit them with the 45s anyway even though it will effectively raise my car.

try some falken 502's. i got mine in 205/40 17 from discounttire.com for about 60 bucks a piece.
Thanks for the input! It's appreciated, especially since I've never stretched before, so it's nice to hear from people with experience. 60 bones a piece seems pretty fair! I'll check it out!

Good! Haha sorry I am the master rambler. Thanks for the advise on tires, will look into 512s if need be. Honestly, I don't know what I want to do. Keep my 15s and put lo profiles on them, put the style 5s on, or save up for a wider set of wheels ( ESM rs reps 16x9.5 )

Probably a no on the stretch though, real hard to stretch on a 17x8. Unless you get 512s. Then go for it.
A wider set of wheels would be ideal, but I've already got some style fives. The smaller the tire, the more low. Since I have 60s on my 15s, a set out 17s with skinnys would leave it at around the same height.

Nope. It hangs low though, just gotta be careful. I will get a skid plate soon probably. Better safe than sorry.
