yeah I figured adapters would need to be ordered, now I just need to come up with the funds and what size rim I will go with, torn between sticking with 14's and going wider and stretching white whalls or going with 16's and doing beefy tires.

right now I am researching a wheel setup, anyone had any success putting American wheels 5x5 or 5x4.5 on a Benz? I read a little and found that either the 5.5 or 5.45 will bolt right up, but I am not sure, anyone tried this?
5x5 is just 5 bolt and 5 inch pcd. 5 inches in millimeters is somewhere around 130 so no they won't just bolt right up. You could always get adapters made though!

Nothing too new to report, just been driving it on the weekends when the weather is nice. Got bored today and replaced the inline fuel filter between the tank and fuel pump and cleaned up and blacked out the condensor, aux fan and junk behind the grill and painted the horns red for the hell of it:

Thanks TechniX and Marsss, I tried to pull the 'ol sagged out springs trick, the cop just laughed at me.

I think overall, this is my favorite shoot ive done of the car so far.

Yeah, i was gonna sell the car as soon as the wedding was over, but I ended up loving it too much, doesnt cost me anything really to own it, and wanted to keep it for those girlie sentimental reasons being that it was done for the wedding

The best part of this build is that you got the car looking this good... yourself!
I knew you'd find it hard to part with it

Clean historical car and you're getting pulled over for being 'too low' - wtf!
Can't you claim it's all stock suspension and that the car is just sagging - Not much you can do?

Somehow this shot is one of my fav, the out of focus biker does it for me:

May I ask what you told the officer? Did you get a ticket? Seems kind of strange that he would pull you over for something so stupid. I bet he just wanted to see the car better hahaha.
Not all of them are V8's the standard 280 is a straight six. I tried to tell him that the springs were old and sagged out [even i knew that was a stretch] he just laughed, probably doesn't help when i have a shocker stick and a "no fat girls car will scrape" sticker So....I just told him they were cut, he said ok, told me to do him a favor and raise it back up....no ticket, warning.
