Wow... Your car is one of the main reasons why 8 years ago when my friends were buying mustangs I bought a e30 great build and can't wait to see the video once the supercharger is installed

Yes for sure.. We need to. Perhaps with a few other cars. Been thinking about doing a proper video for a while. Photoshoot is scheduled after the charger is installed.

Oh oh.. What is this? I think it's time for it. In the next 2 weeks. Cams and the VF Blower.

The bracket I had redone in Black.

Same time will install the Henna Powder coated valve cover and Filter housing cap.

I love it when an engine swap looks like it came that way from the factory.
That is always the plant to do it right and make it look like it belongs in there.

Next step is cams and VF supercharger. Stay tuned.

Also from today; Eric's Car was just painted. Now the fun job of putting it all back together.
Here are a few photos taken today while he was waiting on AAA.

I followed this build on Instagram, but I am glad I found it here. The work is amazing to say the least, and even the pictures you say are boring help me understand my husbands E30 rear end and suspension setup. The rear wheel bearings need replaced and I've never worked on anything RWD. I am not a stranger to the mechanical side of a car, but BMW's are new to me. I've grown attached to our E30 and was even more attached the E24 we once had. Lol!

I do have a question about the new door seals. The interior in our E30 was redone when a previous owner had it. It looks good, but the seals around the door frame have a gap in the corners and you can see daylight there. I am unsure if the seals were replaced with brand new then...was it difficult to get the new seals to fit snug around the whole door frame?
