Damn, those will look great! What are you doing with the suspension?

Not sure. I'd like to do coils but I have the beetle to use as my low car. Maybe just some IPD springs. I don't want it too low or it'd be impractical as a daily here.

I made the mistake of parking in the main commuter lot on campus in the beetle.
There is an enter lane and exit lane to the lot separated by cones with chains.

To get to the exit lane, there are two hills up the enter side and the same two hills back down on the exit side.

If I tried to go over the crest of the hills I might as well be a beached whale.

So I waited for traffic to die down and jetted through the enter lane back out onto the bypass haha

I kinda 'browsed' through this thread, but what happened to the E28?

engine was locked up and they still wanted like $2K. It was a trade in at a dealer. dealer asked that price and said if we didnt buy it, it was going to auction.

Update:

Havn't done much lately because my dad finally gave in to starting a project with me. Looking for something now. Beetle mostly. Mid 60's. Theyre a definitely in abundance where I live. Just need to find the right condition for the right price.

This was a good find for what we wanted condition wise, but it had a huge title issue so we had to leave it. It was about a quarter mile from my house.
