    I think I'm in love...

So fresh and clean. It's like the thing's been sealed in plastic for 30 years. Tasty BMW, dude, keep those updates coming!

    Front and rear window disassembled.
Well-known places seem to be not very rusty. Just 3 small spots.

There were some things I had to look through.

At the front, bad sheet metal.
    Interior, driver's seat very worn.
    Motor, not the right engine.

    However, all replaceable

A thick layer of dust here, but there is a lot happened in the meantime.

The diesel became a bit unnecessary because I make low mileage. In the long term, the trunk also would fall off because the amount of rust: wtf:

So the plan was that I would like to keep driving an e28 as a daily car. But this time it had to be a gasoline.

Viewed a lot of e28 at that time.
They all have some rust in the usual places, so a rustfree e28 would not be realistic to find.

Then this one came along. An original Dutch e28 20i from 1986.
    May 2016 I bought the 520i automatic.

    Picked the car up.

With stretched tires? Caps will fit, but the whitewhalls won't. They are for balloon tires.
I tried to put them on 175/50/15 tires and that didn't work. Whtewhalls with caps are coming off during the ride.

Are those 15" steelies with standard hub caps? I dig those!
You really don't always need wide and large wheels for a good style. You nailed it.
