I don't even.
Also, the 2jz has really reduced in price. It's less than either of the RB motors. I'm not doing a super expensive swap. If anything, I could flip this car, and maybe another, and put a 2jz in for around $4k total. The most difficult thing I will have to do is get the gauges to work.
Rant over.

eXerGy's 240sx Build
Hey y'all, I recently picked up an old S13 1991 240sx for $1000.
Been lazy on this, so this is going to be a long ass post. Pop that popcorn and enjoy!
The previous owner had it lowered, and originally on some Enkei 92's, 18x10 in the rear and 18x9.5 in the front. Unfortunately that didn't come with the car. So I'm currently sitting on stock SE wheels and bald-ass tires.
I bought it with a cracked radiator. The owner thought it had a blown head gasket, but luckily enough, it didn't. That, kids, is why you shouldn't take someone's word without checking for yourself. Madhatter and I replaced the radiator, and filled it up with water (Fuck yeah Florida! No antifreeze for me!) Car runs at proper temperature, and pulls haaard for a 4cyl.
The owner before the person I bought it from had the trunk wrapped in pink zebra duct tape. Turns out, it wasn't for aesthetics. There were actually two large rust holes beneath it. I took the pink shit off, and replaced it with gold shit. I'm currently looking for a new hatch, because I don't have the welding skills to fix it.
Car had a cold start problem, but I cleaned out the MAF and it's running quite well now.
Comes equipped with a welded diff, and boy is it fun, especially with them bald tires.
My analog dash only had a working tachometer and heat gauge, so I took everything out to swap in a digital dash.
I got the entire dashboard stripped down
Then I realized that I have to have an entirely new computer under the dash to get my digital cluster to work. Fuuuuuck.
My buddy suggested I check my fuel sending unit to fix my fuel gauge, and the speed sensor in the tranny to get my speedo to work. Eventually I'll buy a stand alone unit and get my shit together, but I'm 16, so it may be a while!
I have to pay off my dad since he helped me transport the car back home, then I'll buy some wheels, tires, and hopefully some paint.
Future plans for the car are
- 2JZ-GTE Non VVT-i swap.
- XXR 962's 18x10 rear, 18x9 fronts
- 300zx brake swap and 5 lug conversion
- Tein coilovers
- New paint job
- Full JDM 180sx conversion
It's going to be a slow build, but I'll try to keep y'all posted.
Feedback is welcome! Gimme yo' suggestions, criticize me, compliment, whatever the hell you feel like! Thanks for reading.
