Ehhhh just another truck

Hey guys, sorry I've fallen so far behind keeping this up to date. Life got away from me, and I had shit-to-do so all of my build threads went on the back burner. Anyways, so little updates....









On another note,

















I sold the truck. Something else Datsun....much more rare....much cleaner.....something I had been trying to convince the owner to sell for some time.... has fallen into my hands.

This is the last picture I have of the truck. It went to a buddy that works at MTI, so it's in very good hands. Since then it has blown the stroker up, and is now Datsun diesel powered. It has not been on the streets in months.

I will update you guys on the new project/DD soon.

LOL sorry forgot to post that... uh no.

Mainstream Performance is retarded. They were having issues with the dyno reading so IDK if my HP reading is even accurate.

To top that off, my chart rears HP/MPH not HP/RPM and no accurate torque reading. He also didn't rev it past about 6000 when I told him to run it to 7000.

And pulled in 3rd gear, instead of the obvious 4th.
So yeah. Numbers were wrong.

Only reason I used them was because of the dyno day. Otherwise I'd have used Batleground Motorsports.

Well..... it's been a few months. And I went back. Well, only in the back. Long enough to wear out my old front tires (TONS of camber wear) I've been doing lots of burnouts.

I'm getting some flares soon. Then the 15x10's will be back in full effect!!

very cool car. All the 'patina' and character mods, plus the shinies, works well!

i kinda prefer the fitment of the Centrelines, a little more like they 'fit' the body more, but then they are a bit...plain. The other wheels were more aggressive and had more character. Tough call, but at least you have both to mess with. Or do your odd pair thing and put the 10s up back? haha

I am sort of thinking it'd be cool if you cut the original faded 'DATSUN' out of that vinyl rising sun on the back. But maybe it wouldn't be that good, if you had some good with photoshop i would get them to etch out the letters and drop them onto a new photo of the back and see what it looks like..

I went through a dilemma with my centerlines. Got em, loved em, switched em, wasn't mad, miss them sometimes. Hey so do you think the L series is KA fast? Hahaha.
