I was after a set of the OEM front fogs for Marvin, but as they're rarer than rocking horse poo, I got some aftermarket ones and they fill the gaps perfectly and I'm really pleased with them
All I can say is, holy crap they're bright!!! They actually make my headlamps look dim in comparison!! It's nice to actually be able see properly at night now though!
No real updates as of yet, though I have just taken delivery of a stage 1 cam and adjustable pulley for it, and will soon be getting a carb conversion set up for it too
I started on fixing some of the rough parts on the 'deck, and thought I'd start with the bumpers. Fixed them up, and tried some paint that was kicking around the shop, and loved the look of it, so I painted both the bumpers.
Just got to fix the rust on the sides now and paint them the same colour, and repaint all the black plastic satin black to freshen it all up.
Yeah because it's a 3gee! I still have my mud flaps on, but I've worn through them to the point where the front's don't have any letters from "HONDA" anymore. Keep at it man looks like a great start
Cheers man. Yea, they're extremely rare. Even though they were only made in Japan and Europe, there was still not massive amounts of them sold.
The plans will hopefully be started on the Jubilee bank holidays as I'm off work then, but the garage I do my work at will be open. So I'll see about getting some gloss black paint, some sanding discs for the DA, some filler and rust treatment and get the lower half of the car done. Then I just need to get the rest of the car painted satin white, and it'll be all good to go!
