Full h4 conversion going in tonight. Coilovers hopefully should be here before the weekend. Now I don't know if I want to swap my turn signals/driving lights to a black housing or a clear housing since they are broken.
nice start, a friend of mine has a 90 smurf as well..love this car, def keep that trunk rack and see if you can get your hands on a HT...those wheels look pretty mint on there....get this thing on the ground
Well I popped the valve cover off last night. Timing belt appears to be in great shape almost new if you ask me. So I'm going to hold off on that and spend the money on coils instead I've landed on these they seem to have great reviews are cheapish and the old lady won't complain about them being to stiff. Any one know of a better deal than this price let me know lol
Same here it's my first rwd car so I'm pretty happy with it so far. Can't wait for it to rain tonight . Giant parking lot right by my house that never has cars in it
Sold the civic and picked up one of my dream cars. a 90 miata I've wanted one for ever and finally got a good deal on one. Only have three decent pictures of it from the night I bought it. Still super dirty but it's a blast to drive needs a couple things. But any ways here it is the smurf I'm the second owner of this beauty
Plans:
Low
Wide
lsd
turbo
Vintage styling cues
and a roll bar.
Three shots I took the first night
Latest shots as of May 19th 2012
Found the oem tonneu cover in the trunk covered in mud. Washed it off took some leather reconditioner to it and it looks great. Also going to keep the luggage rack. It add's character imo
