You know, I didn't want to say anything about the new wheels until I saw them on the car. Then... I wasn't sure I cared for them much at all, maybe it was just the color. But now...

looks great. funny your local powdercoater wouldn't touch them... though expensive, wheels are wheels when it comes to PC process.

I agree...the coater I went to does quality quality work. I have a few other places I'll contact to see if they will do them. I'm sure I'll find somebody.

Funny...thats what everyone has been telling me. I didn't know they were that bad! I know the original color only looked good in no direct sunlight or at night; however, in the sun...they looked very primerish. I'm not sure WTF 360 was thinking and when I wanted gunmetal...that wasn't what I had in mind. Anyways...all taken care of now. I plan on getting the old wheels powder-coated in a dark finish and throwing on some Sport Cup tires on them for those "I need the traction" days.

Hopefully I'll shoot some more pics tonight after I get out of work and post them up tomorrow.

How are you refinishing them and what color are you going with?

Pulled the wheels off last night to refinish them. I never was happy with the color...they are just too light and primer looking. I know if I sent them back to 360..turn around time would be like 3 months. I talked to a local powdercoater, and he said he wouldn't touch them, even after picking out the color and going through all that.... I plan on refinishing these myself.
