Holy guacamole Batman!! It's an update!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, the long awaited, slightly disappointing update..

Let's get started

Continuing from my little teaser sort of thing

Tie-rods out, I mostly took pics of the passenger side

Random picture, you can see the mess my steering rack made

Brand new tie-rods

Installed

And someone on here gave me the idea to clean what was left of my wiring harness

That's it for now!
Thanks for looking, I know it's not much of an update but I haven't had the money to
do anything to the car, working on getting a job now that I'm 15. And I'm also moving to Roswell in a few months, is there anyone in the stance scene in Roswell?

Hopefully more to come soon, bye for now!

haha you aren't even old enough to go into a pullapart! Great work so far.
Whaatttt, who told you I wasn't old enough?

What are we looking at here? looks like you zip tied the strut cartridge to the knuckle...
Actually what the previous owner did was ziptie the tie rod to the knuckle so that there was
some sort of.... Steering? I guess you could call it that :P

But it's an honor to have you say such nice things about my build

Got some front end pieces, front valance, and a grille in pretty good condition.
Also got interior peices for my dash so it will be complete, and lucked out
and found front and rear emblems!

Sadly the valance was in worse condition than I thought, we got it on but its pretty warped, and I don't have screws for the grille, but these things really aren't that important anyway.
Didn't take any pictures because I forgot but I'll have some up tomorrow.

Thanks for looking!

Alright guys! I need some opinions, so I have a few motors that I have the opportunity to put
in Marla but I'm not quite sure yet, I could either put an M20 or M50, BUT it would be a pull-a-part motor that I would partially rebuild. OR, a 4.6 liter Ford v8 with low low low miles, but being a Ford motor I would need to do a bit of fabricating to make it fit, like I would with the M50. And the M20 is only a temporary option until I save up for something nice.

Thanks for looking!

Keep doin it! And fuck getting a friend that can weld, you just need to watch some youtube videos and go out there yourself. (FWIW I cannot weld)
Ahah, thanks. And trust me, youtube is my sensei for everything xD

It looks like you didn't grind the paint off or use a shielding gas. Both are a must when welding. Unless you are stick welding, then you just need to prep both areas.
I ground off paint all around each hole about 3 inches from the edge, and I'm also using
a 120 watt flux wire welder from harbor freight, I saw a guy doing PERFECT welds on
youtube with the exact same welder so it's just me, not sure what I'm doing wrong
