    15x7 +20 is very weak for an E30 if you are wanting 'stance'. Also as you don't want to go too low, i'd definately say 16s or even 17s to fill wheel arch gap. That is provided you get some proper suspension to get it low enough

    if you want to go the RS path, be prepared to shell out big dollars in rebuild parts. Probably around $3000 when you add lips, bolts, valves, caps, badges, powdercoating, assembly costs etc. That is if you buy all the parts from overseas and have a shop paint/coat and assemble for you. They will be gorgeous when done though haha

    alternatively, Japanese wheels can be had cheaply these days or even get something from Europe. In terms of BBS RS, look on Yahoo Japan auctions and there are quite a lot of sets there. You will really need to do your homework though to make sure you get sizes/specs to suit rebuilding i.e. make sure the barrel size and width are what you want when you add the bigger lips. Also some can be 5x120 so will need a fill and redrill, whereas others are solid centre / 4x114.3 and can more easily be redrilled without filling to suit 4x100.

    If on a budget, i would say go for something like XXR, Sportmax etc for cheap looks. 16x8 or the likes. This way they are cheap, you don't mind daily driving them, and to everyone but the hardcore purist they will be much cooler than a cheap skinny set of old BBS RS 15x7s!
    Wow dude thanks for the helpful info!

    Hard to get my head around the fitment calcs etc.

    The phone dials were just the style, they weren't actually the porsche ones lol so a little cheaper. Off a member of this site also.

    My other option was these: http://www.discounttiredirect.com/di...van&tmn=Mesh+X
    But the offset is huge, and from my understanding, the lower the offset, the more 'poke'?

    Or some of those borbet replicas off ebay... (always like borbet A's)

    The reason i was thinking 7" wide with an et of 20 was from this bit of info i found:

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    E-30 offsets
    4x100mm, center hub is 57mm, wheel bore 57.1mm
    6" rim width: 33mm offset = 4.7" backspace
    6" rim width: 35mm offset = 4.6" backspace **
    6½" rim width: 26mm offset = 4.7" backspace
    6½" rim width: 30mm offset = 5.0" backspace **
    7" rim width: 20mm offset = 4.7" backspace
    7" rim width: 25mm offset = 4.9" backspace **
    7½" rim width: 20mm offset = 4.9" backspace
    ** Factory sizes for an E30
    Wheel diameter is irrelevant concerning offset.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    have also been playing around with calculators like http://www.rimsntires.com/specs.jsp

    The xxr 521's look awesome for that price!

    Fitment and wheels look awesome on yours

    I feel the same way about my holden at the moment... i really don't want to sell it but registration and insurance for 2 cars while studying is a bit much

    What you plan on running wheel wise, I know aussie always gets some cool ish from the breakers.
    It'll get there! Study load is ridiculous at the moment so struggling...

    I toyed with the idea of phone dials on photoshop, but it ended up looking weird, still gunna try some on the weekend anyway to see how they look irl

    If that doesn't doesn't work im considering some BBS RS's

    16" is almost impossible to find, so i may settle for 15x7 et20

    Trying to do everything on a budget!
