When I got my Cougar I literally pulled 17 feet worth of wires of of the dash that weren't connected to anything on either end. It was also caught on fire due to the PO dumping gas into the carb while someone turned it over leading to fire extinguisher crap all over everything... He spent 2 months in the hospital though lol Good luck with that rats nest you've got there. I don't envy you one bit right now.

Sorry i missed your comment! no i haven't had any reliability issues at all that being said its a small motor with a somewhat large turbo so im only running four pounds which inst much. Anyways, since old man winter is here and the dust from the show season has settled i found it necessary to re-wire the whole car. Here is a pic of what is going on in my world. i think ill do something cool with all the wring and all because im not a fan of how they are ran inside the factory loom. maybe a nice tuck for the wireless "shaved bay" look, if there is such a thing. Anyway here are some pictures. I stopped to prevent throwing things.

i know its hard to understand what your looking at but that is where the speedometer would normally be located and that is the associated wiring. In conclusion, the stupid asshole that got back there before me when it was a baja bug made a nice mess for me to clean up.

How do you like it with the turbo right now? Just wondering if you've had any problems with its reliability? Turbo just makes it so much better, but I love this car none-the-less, so awesome looking.

Well although i have been a slacker about tearing down the car, we have had some beautiful days here in good ol middle Tennesse! Yesterday was the last day i believe it will be on the road for some time. I was having fun shenanigan time on the way home, broke a cv joint so i guess that the signal from the ACVW gods to fix the stuff i have been ignoring. Anyways on with my lame story heres a little fall cell phone pictar, sorry about the power lines dont judge im no photographer.

I hope its ok to whore this thing out despite seeing it on the main page. But this is one of my favorite shots of the car ever. I love black and white stuff i believe it suits the car well. It feels kind of like a dream seeing my car on a site as well known as this one. I love the fact that even one person may like my car let alone a community made up of cars that are a lot better than my own, i guess what i mean to say is thanks to everyone that has helped along the way.

Heart and soul comes in time, your build is super cool but you knew what you wanted and built it. With this car I've made it somewhat of a goal to do one major thing a year. The heart comes meeting people, friends, and now seeing how the community reacts toward it. Honestly at the end of the day it's really not about the car or the build its the people you meet along the way.

Also I brought you a fourty and you weren't here last night, c-hutch drank it.

Yes we most certainly can be friends, i like long walks on the beach, welches sparkling grape juice, and only the finest of natural ice 40oz's. Also your volvo is sick!
