thanks gents! wheels will be on soon, just need to finish finals and wrap up a few other things so I can get them on.

on to the updates! finally found a mirror block off plate for the passenger side at the junkyard. I already tried to buy one off a random person in a parking lot, even offered to install an actually mirror for them if they would sell me their block off plate. they thought I was crazy
the passenger side mirror was actually an option you had to add, and cost extra to have when you bought the car



for the drivers side I will have to make my own block off plate....


but why would I want no side mirrors????? because I just ordered some badass fender mirrors. probably will only install the drivers side one.

This is ill haha, i definitely entered this thread intrigued and then felt skeptical, but after 9 pages i am satisfied. And part of me wants to take the money i was gonna use on new wheels and tires for my mk5 and just buy myself a junker so i can junkyard stance it for fun while i keep the mk5 lol

what is the exact specs on your wheels man?

Fronts are16x7 +35 et. Backs are 16x8 +38 et. Plus 19mm adapters for both

That capacitor is pretty brutal, haha.

Id be careful about blowing that sub, a lot of times car audio equipment is insanely overrated, odds are for 40 bucks from a pawn shops its not gonna take 1600wrms... but you probably know that haha.

Looking good, matching wheels are kinda lame though

Got the front of my sub box carpeted and put it in the car.

Fits super snug. I still need to build a carpeted cover plate for the back. This was just so i could do some measurements. Also I need to redo all the wiring and upgrade to a bigger gauge wire.

Why larger gauge wire you might ask? Cause this came today

1200 watts

The trunk is gonna look very different when I'm finished with it. Going to try and make it look somewhat VIPish
