I felt the same way for the longest time, but the improvements on the 2nd gen puts it on an entirely different level than the 1st gen. I never thought that Chrysler would go as far as they did with interior improvements, as my 2007 SRT had the same exact interior as an Enterprise rental car, but just with different seat skins.

Coming from that car, and now having a glass roof, heated steering wheel, adaptive cruise control, keyless operation, and the overall fit and finish of all the various gaps in the car when the doors/hood/trunk are open has completely changed my view on Chrysler.

No doubt about the refinement! They're offering some great incentives on the 2012's right now. Enough to reel you in if you're serious. lol

Fucking read before you post jackass remarks. This forum was not created for a bunch of assholes... Either quit acting like infants or GTFO and go back to wherever you originally came from.
    THIS EXACTLY!!

BTW, really enjoyed your first 300 and looks like this one is going to be as impressive. Keep it up mate...

    Removing the stock rear suspension:

I had to drop the rear left section of the exhaust to gain access to the lower control arm. Yes, that even included removing the pretty shiny oval tip that Chrysler screws on to the bumper.

    Exhaust hangers dropped:

That gained me clear access to the lower control arm bolt:

    Lower strut bolt removed:

    Upper strut bolts:

Lower control arm bolt coming out:

    Dropped:

    Out with the junk :

    "Aired Up":

    "Laid Out":

Current fitment. A slight roll will allow the tire to slide right by:

COME ON, this guy deserves so much more respect than this, esp. having proven himself through a build as good as his last one.

getting worried about the direction this forum is headed...guess thats just what happens when the user base gets bigger, but i thought we all might have been above that..i was wrong

good luck op, really excited to see what the new 300's look like layed out
Thanks very much for your post! I really appreciate it. I'd never go anywhere expecting any level of respect for anything, but I really do enjoy sharing my hobby with those who can actually appreciate it (and more importantly, actually mean it lol).

Whether you like the pictures/build that someone chooses to post on a public forum doesn't really bother me at all, as even having just a few people enjoy what you're producing with only your personal tastes in mind is always an awesome thing.

Thanks for the reply! I'll say this, I've been on various car forums since my first real "build" in 2002 with a 1995 Nissan Altima (we all start somewhere right?), and I'm fully aware of just how these things can go. lol I have no ill feelings towards anyone who expresses their opinion online, as I can't control what other people do, I can only keep things in perspective and respond accordingly.

I'm ready to tear into this thing! This whole wheel gap thing's been keeping me up at night.
