yeah, but its way harder to find. Id go 2jz over a ls1. BUT ive only seen one or two 2jz FC's for sale, and theres prob 10 different LS1 Fc's for sale right now. and its cheaper, thats all.

well, my next car is gonna be either a LS1, or a 2jz. As far as the cars 2jz will most liekly be a 240. But for the LS1, im thinking a RX7 FC, you can get the car, swapped in a RX7 for 10,000 at most. And Stock body FC's look discusting.
But the Origin Lab, and GP sports body kit looks badass. So put that on, go get a 1000 dollar paint job, some coilovers, and nice looking wheels. You can have a flush, 10-11 second car for $14,000, save up for a procharger or STS turbo kit. you can get around 600hp on stock internals. youll prob still be in the tens (traction issues) but it will destroy the highways lol.
ls1 240's seem to be a little to pricey imo, but if you come upon a cheap, nice one. then thats an awesome find. i just dont feel comfortable dropping more then 11,000 on a 240 OR FC.

For the person saying there is no replacement for displacement, obviously does not know what a turbo is. I work with maritime engines that have a rather large turbo that increase the power out put up to 70%-80%. there comes a point when you cant physically fit a natural aspired engine in that would have the same power out put as a turbo engine.
