You've just enlightened me, I didn't know it weighed less. I know stances go really low, but didn't know they made them for sedans. I've seen your car and know you know what you're talking about so I . can't argue. The only thing I've seen about jic's were on a y33 so I made the assumption the were a vip coil

I dont know much about SEDANS, yes, but I know my way around my coupe pretty well. As far as ive seen jics on bigbody sedans go pretty low

..... This is not a big body it actually weighs less than your coupe, so I don't know why you would group them with big bodies just because they are a sedan.

JICs are often used on Y33s because they are one of the few companies that made a coilover with a built in front spindle unlike most others that needed the weld in strut option. For a while JIC and Insurance were the only companies offering coils for the Y33 and Y34 application.

JICs offer a maximum 3" drop for the G35 coupe (so 2.5" on the sedan) opposed to stance or HSD which is about 5" They also come in lower spring rates (often 8/10) which is not suitable for a fitted car weighing 3200lbs (especially on 18s) JIC are also about $600 more than both of the above.

So why suggest something that is more money and not suitable for this particular car?

I wasn't going to chime in on this thread but this is too much.

1. Fuck chrome in 95% of applications

2. Stance often doesn't get you home and can sometimes leave you on the side of the road with a cracked oil pan or separated sidewall.

3. We're not talking about cost, but if you really want to, instead of buying brand new XXRs, go to VR/memoryfab etc and buy a solid set of wide wheels. The G sedan doesn't need super aggressive wheels to be aggressive.

4. Actually we would still know, we're part of the crowd that WILL know. Just like we know when people fake TEs, CEs and LMs.

5. I would not recommend suggesting that as it is FRP and fits like shit. The only legit poly from bumpe is made by strafe auto and carbodykits.com and happens to have shaved plate mount. What you posted is notorious for coming close to fitting a civic before the G.

OP, running some JP parts and buying entry level everything else is ass backwards. If you dig the XXRs run em. But the G isn't a vip platform and the mods you've selected for it (so far) are not at all the vip treatment.

I say sell your wheels OR the JP stuff and start over. You may also want to sell the megans and switch to Stance or HSD. The guy that said JICs, has never been around Zs and Gs. JICs for this car don't go low.

There are a lot of very clean Gs in the community and the guys that own them are some of the most helpful out there, use that to your advantage.

woodfloor ain't all bad

I was excited when I saw the 1st shot, with the planks running left/right. The installed pic has them running front/back, which is always a bad idea. Honestly there's no way I'd get in that car. I'd rather NOT be impaled by Pergo floor when some idiot rear-ends me.
