I may sell my other subie soon. if anyone is interested!!!! its a 91 legacy sedan with 121k original miles. every maintenance record since it rolled off the lot, owners manual, immaculate on the interior. its a 10 out of 10. Im looking to get 2000 out of her. no leaks, everything works. no burning oil. my number is 405-245-2419 for anyone in oklahoma.

Ima put a semi turbo on it!!!! set at 50lb of boost. Stock internals can handle that right???? hahahaha JK but seriously i am trying to slam this bad baby. I think im having fuel regulator problems out of it due to vacuum advance, but im looking into it now.

are the ea82 t motors worth rebuilding for power? Why do they not like more than 7lb of boost?? I like the motor to be honest, but idk if it something i would want to build or keep stock.

Be careful with the ea82t, do not up the boost, it will explode. If you can find xt6 parts you can do a five lug swap like I did on my brat, but it's much easier on your car as the control arms actually fit on yours. I had to modify mine a lot. It will also allow you to run EJ struts along with brakes. In the front, someone just modified an ea82 to have rear coilovers off from a mustang of some sort. You could also do a six lug swap which involves re drilling your hubs for toyota pickup wheels, but you won't be as open to brake and suspension options. If you haven't already, check out usmb there's a ton of really good info on swaps of any kind, and a ton of info on your car. Interested to see where this project goes. I'll be keeping an eye on this one, as an older subaru fan myself!

Oh, and it is now a full time 4wd vehicle, as the 4wd selector and sensor is out lol, but its ok, I do believe that the awd and selectable 4wd drivetrains are the same, so it can handle it. It is driving great though. good power.

This baby is cold nature d like a hard core bitch lol but i love her for it. I need to mess with the idler screw a little and the TPS. Now that the vacuum leak is gone though, she runs amazing... whenever she warms up. The EA82 motor sounds like a porsche whenever you get upwards of 3k rpms. Its got a deep sound to it.

Finally traced my vacuum leak... The intake manifold gaskets were toast. And since i work from like right after the sun is up until dark, i barely have had time to do it. A shop quoted me $200 just for labor!!!!! the part is 3.99!! So i decided to not be a douche and i tackled it by myself in the damn dark hahaha. so after a few hours, my baby turned over and now she purrs like a bay kitten and the turbo screams at higher RPM's. She runs great and n ow i can focus on the suspension.

Does anyone know anyone or have any ea82T parts that they are willing to sell. The idler valve is messed up and i think i may need a new intake manifold. I think it could be slightly cracked, but IDK. I now know a legacy suspension setup works on my car (seeing as how the GL was the legacy before the legacy). and diamond racing makes 4x140 wheels in my specification, so now all i need is parts and time. please help if you can!
