I've always wanted the Evo VII tails but couldn't quite see myself paying $600+ for a pair. I think $15 and some time paid off here, IMO it looks much cleaner than the clear altezza look.

Thanks for the complements. Lows in time, I just don't feel like slapping on my coilovers and then running them in the salty winters just yet lol. I have another package that should be arriving next week if not today. Nothing extreme, just a little extra exterior addition. Stay tuned...

    Great potential!

Not too sure on the wood in the boot, not so much the fact that you have wood floor in it, but the actual timber itself if you get me?? Maybe a lighter coloured timber would suit it better imho

Why not throw on the coils and keep them at "winter height" until Spring if the weathers gonna suck?

Love the tails and the trunk wood... you should definitely do the cabin in wood as well. LOL "wood cabin".

Did some painting during this week, taillight painting to be exact. Never really liked the altezza looking taillights, always preferred the Evo VII tails

So here are my Evo 9 tails before paint:

After I masked off the lines. Wanted to make them look as close to the JDM ones as I could:

After applying some coats of the red stain-glass paint:

And what they look like on the car:

Final step is to cut and buff the clear to get some more shine out of them, they kinda have a flat look to them right now. Will hopefully get that done this weekend.

So I picked up some spacers the other day from a buddy of mine. 15mm for the rear and 25mm for the front. Car still needs more low but at least for the winter I'm sitting a little wider. CAUTION: Excessive wheel gap below

15mm spacer on the left v. 25mm spacer on the right

I think once it goes lower it will look better wingless.
