So this last weekend I traveled ~300 miles from Mid Oregon up to Seattle to do a photo shoot with the car. It only likes to do about 50mph so needless to say, it was a long trip up. The shoot turned out great and had a good time in Seattle. Here's a teaser pic from the shoot.

The next morning I went to start the long journey back home and as I tried to reverse out of the parking spot I was in I heard a loud bang from the transmission. I figured it just popped out of gear but it then began making AWFUL grinding noises in neutral 1st and 2nd anytime I would let the clutch out. SOOOO I made some phone calls and convinced my mother to drive 5 hours to come pick me up with a flatbed.
Trailer Queen...

Today I dropped the transmission hoping that something in the clutch (throwout bearing etc.) was what had went. But when I got the transmission out and looked inside this is what I found...

So now I get to try and track down a transmission for a fairly rare ~50 year old car.

Respect For my old volvo. Photos when I just got it just about done

I kinda **** myself everyday for trading, But man do I love that RF600R. Thing pulls and I am for sure a motorcycle man now. Thinking about selling my other scoot and stancing out a mid 80's Mercedes 190E.
As for the springs in the rear. You did not show them the other side where the 2 springs were actually welded together instead of tied. I forgot to finish up the other side because I didnt have a garage available. I did this to comfortable carry more than myself, because everyone always asked for rides. haha
Some build pics from me: She was completely stock when I got her:
Stock and low:

Test fitting of the 15x10s -38:
