nice wagon , got a wagon to as first car, slammed on kw v1 , rear without pads and adjust rings, front lowest and cut 1 coil of top( on the pics front wasnt cut!) last pic is with cut springs in front
Things TOO clean. Jockin the 'Swag wag dude, rear fitment is mad ! unfortunate to hear this things on the market though, waiting to see what the future whip is.
I did the install on Dom's car. The front struts were very tricky because you cannot modify the strut to be shorter as the bag needs to stay above and away from contact of the tire. The front struts were modified by removal of the spring cup, modified to accept the not-so-universal strut bag, and lower as much as possible - modified shaft to accept the new bearing, CNC cut upper plate. Raising the front strut towers will be the cleanest and most useful option to get the front down.
Still turned out great. The rear bags were also very tricky as there is very limited room in there to work with, but the formula and pattern created to get them in with a proper bracketry worked like a charm.
Whoa, you in Mira Mesa? I remember seeing this car a few weeks ago down there, then I found the thread.
I'm up in Escondido, but my nephews live down there, and I'm potentially starting a job down there as well.
I'm down in Clairemont haha but im up in MM alot
Annnnnnnnd and update, got the car back today drove it 6 hours straight from AZ without any issues, car rides amazing and is unbelievably fun to play with the switches
Will have a proper shoot soon
hell yea. awesome to see this sitting low. shorter struts will be great, as it will also mean when aired up a bit to give driving clearance you should have a decent amount of air in the bags for good driving manners.
custom jobs always take some trial to get dialled.
keep it up, im sure you will LOVE the drive home.
drive safe, take it easy and stop a couple times along to way to make sure its all looking good
Thanks buddy super stoked car should be all the way home in 24 hours
And definitely will do man I'll hit you up this weekend maybe meet up if your not busy
