glad to hear about the adapters!

My car died the night after the cruise, I think the clutch pressure plate died. I'll find out soon hopefully. I posted about it in my thread.

I was only suggesting you do that sarcastically. Sometimes I like to pull out in front of fellow bendubbers in parking lots and say "watch it, this is a BMW!" people who don't know what's going on probably think that I'm being serious, which I'm not too worried about.

I need to fix my car speaking of that....

the turbo is a stock turbo off of an automatic turbo wagon so its the same size. im not much for acting better than other people.

doesn't it have a bigger turbo on it though? you should act all uppity every time you fill up and say "it takes premium, it's got a turbo."

i did get bitched out by a meth head the first time i filled up. so it has since been rotated away from the door a little to shut them up. and i read in the owners manual that its ok to put regular in it. so i do. im not to worried about it.

yea, the exhaust has spencer written all over it! I bet they love you at the gas station! Tyson used to put ethanol free in that and tell them it was a 57 when they asked what year it was by the way. worth a shot if you don't want that crap running through it... it does have a turbo after all!

thanks dave coincidentally spencer helped me with the exhaust haha and since i named him moby in honor of a famous white whale that we all know and love, and so i like to think of it as his "spout" and getting those new rimz on my car is literally the only thing that i look forward to in life.

I like how obnoxious your exhaust is. Like on Spencer's E21, it's probably a little over the top for me to want to run something like that on a ride of my own, but I love the individuality and character it gives the car.

can't wait to see the new ramzzz on there!

the exhaust got tiled back a little this weekend, it looks alot better. goes along with the body lines more and flows with the look of the car. the second stack is a total joke. its held on with 2 screws it will not be permanent. and expect for the wheels to be amazing. and i have looked at your wagon multiple times. it is fantastic

    a long over due update

i havent updated much because there hasnt been enough to update with. but now that summer is over enough has collected to update.

for "starters" my starter blew up, picture

after that i drove it for most of the summer until it broke down on the way to the next town over. turns out it was a fuel pump issue so i replaced both of those and tossed in a new fuel filter for good measure. new wheels have been a priority for this car from the start. and after changing my mind 3 or 4 times and almost buying several different sets i bought these bad boys for 200$

one of the front ones has a pretty some pretty serious curbage. but oh well

i have some plans for these. but since they arent the same bolt pattern i have to buy adapters and new tires so it will probably be spring before i can get these on

    the exhaust needed a re-up

then one day while searching scrap bins for extra pipe i found a gem and added a second "stack"

that is really all i have. there are some plans in the works, but again, money is holding me back. i will keep saving and if im lucky, will be able to put things together once winter is over. to end this update i will post a picture of the car. one day we had the car full of heavy things. jack, tool box, welding equipment, and a tire on top. the result? temporary lower
