Good advice. That's why I filled it with metal filler first. As long as these hold up through the summer that's all I'm looking to get out of them.

Wheels are very close to being done. My plan is to primer them then have the tires mounted. Then paint the wheels. I ordered the Falken 512's in 205/45-17 today and they should be here Monday. Hoping to have these on the car by the end of next week! Then I just have to get spacers out the wazoo and some shorter rear springs to bring the ass end down and adjust the fronts down some more.

Came home today after class and these arrived. About 22 hours after I placed an order for them!

I presume you're referring to the springs? I got them from Togue Factory who builds all of the "Stance" coilovers. $40 I couldn't complain. Had a friend pick them up when he went to buy tires for his Miata.

Yeah. Togue Factory is selling a bunch of springs on eBay but one of the perks of being so close to them is going to buy them in person.

Bought softer springs and put those in the rear. Ride is a ton better! I also made some upper perches to hold the spring in place.

The perches were made in the Czech Republic so I had to modify them a little bit.

Ehh, volans are nice, but not wide enough for me. Anything less than 8" is just too hard to get wide with even a tiny bit of stretch.

These should look pretty good, I'll keep the Neptunes for rainy days.

They seem a little chunky with the paint coating. Looks like you'll need to hit them with 1000 then 2000 and polish.
