Thanks man! I hope to have it decently fitted by SoWo!

After glopping on the first layer of this crap and mistaking "Sandable" as "easily sandable" I came up with an idea on how to make this a bit easier for the rest of the wheels.

Still gonna have to waste tons of time sanding the first wheel I fucked up, but hopefully this idea works and that the other 3 can be a little more painless.

John, this continues to grow and grow on me. Really liking the design of the wheel with the holes filled. The white on red is classic.

Thanks man! I was unsure about it at first but it's definitely my best idea with them...

          Before and After

Wire wheel takes most of the excess off then I hit it with some 220 grit to knock off the rest and smooth it out a bit.

Did the bolts protrude the surface of the wheels? If not, I would have jb welded them in then just filled the small void rather than having to fill a huge hole.

No they didn't, but I didn't like the idea of JB welding over a bolt so I took them out. I have plenty of this stuff too so it should be fine.

Afternoon bump, all holes are filled in with their first layer of Marine-Tex. I have class tonight and then it should be dry by the time I get home and I can then sand off the extra and lay down another layer to fully fill in the holes.

Can't wait to see these all done!

Miglias were my dream wheel for the longest time. White would look insanely awesome.

JB Weld is awesome stuff. I hereby give you honorary "Turbobricks Achievement Unlocked" status.

White is the current plan. These aren't my top choice of wheels but based on the price and specs I'm working with what I have! Glad you guys are on board with the white as many people aren't. I've just always wanted white wheels.

I probably wold have scuffed up the holes and just stuffed balls of two-part epoxy in there and then filled the remaining little bit with Bondo. Less mess and should be about as effective.

Already going at it this way... no turning back now! Might have to use a bit of bondo on the very outside to get it truly smooth. I'm hoping I can do it with just this Marine Tex stuff (aka JB weld) and that you won't be able to tell where there were holes.

                                No turning back now!
