Oh yah for sure. Not to mention when you cut a bar a hair short or have to redo a bar, which will happen, it gets quiet spendy lol. Just can't justify the cost for chromo unless it was required.

No chromo. I honestly don't think it's worth the extra money. Sure it may save a couple pounds cause you can use a thinner wall but chromo work hardens over time and becomes fragile and will crack and if it's not fully backpurged when welding you run more of a risk of cracking. Dom is the standard in nearly any sanctioning body, fairly inexspensive and easy to work with. Not to mention it's more than capable than withstanding any type of crash.

No solidworks. Just experience and follow the rule books for whatever sanctioning body the car is going to be used in. FD, scca, nhra etc. Would love to learn how to use solid works as I think it's a great tool to have and the program is phenomenal.
