No great updates as of yet... actually have had a lot of troubles recently.
I sold my stock wheels to fund for new tires. The tire shop scratched one rim badly, and they reimbursed me for it. Come to also find out that the rims did not have enough catalyst/hardener in the mix, so the paint was still soft after months of fresh paint on them. The rim shop realized their mistake and was going to repaint them. They say it will take a week to do it. I call back a week and a half later and they have to redo the entire job because "they can't get the paint to stick". They should be done by the end of this week.
I also decided to run 205/45/17 and 215/35/17 rather than 205/40 and 215/40. The 40 wall tires just did not look good on my car, in my opinion due to the fact that I am not slammed. I test fitted 45 wall tires before I took the rims back and I liked that much better. The tires are Falken Ziex ZE 512.
It sucks how everything has happened but in the long run it was for the best.

yeah but remember that he is still on springs. so too much stretch and a "high" car will look awfull.

My hub centric rings came in the other day, going to order some wheel locks tonight, and hope to have tires this week or next. Rolling the fenders this week or next, also. I'm either going with 205/40 & 215/40 or 215/40 & 225/40.
