what wheels to go with though...the car has 18x10 +24mm with a 25mm spacer adapter rear and it still lools like there's about 2 inches towards the fender...? i could choose from both 5x120 and 5x114.3 though....

put some 18x12's and find some z06 vette wheels

Anywho, OP....do it! But beware of how low those car's headers hang. Just stick with factory or shorty headers for extra clearance. My buddy has a Trans Am and he's stuck at monster truck ride height because if he lowers it his SLP long tubes will pretty much sit on the ground.
