For sale i have my Mk2 VR6. I have owned the car just over 2 years and bought it as a standard mk2 with the vr6 conversion already carried out. Since then i have spend countless hours and money replacing and upgrading most of it.
Here is the build thread that documents this.
A quick summary of spec is:
BBM 8v gti shell with semi smoothed OEM+ bay
Roof, bonnet, bumpers and rear panel have been painted. Sides are original paint.
Rallye front conversion
Weitec coilovers
G60 brakes
60k miles vr6 fully detailed with schrick manifold
Ultra Violet electric recaro interior in very good condition (rado rear bench included also)
Newton commercials new carpet and complete underlay
Gotti 16x8 and 9 split rims fitted with 195/40 and 215/35 falkens driven to GTI inters and back MINT condition
Alpine cd/mp3 headunit
JL audio components and sub/amp setup, fitted in door and A pillar pods and side boot builds. All done by Shakey of SIC.
New BBT bumpers with SWG fog vents
G60 arches.
And the part everyone wants to see.....Pictures!
Price. £6k as it stands, but happy to remove parts to to reduce that. Wheels, rallye front, interior (although i have no other interior)
