I just found the site while search for some proper wheels and other mods for my 1987 325i convertible. I just purchased it (dirt cheap) off my mother who is the 2nd owner and has had it for 25 years, and the original owner was a family friend. The car was always just a summer weather, top down. Car... it never saw rain or snow and was garaged 24/7, and very well maintained as well. It is mostly stock and I've only had it a few days, ,it does need some love (rear plastic window and rear seat due to sun and top being folded down, very common problem).
I just started my bumper tuck (on an extra set of diving boards), ordered a chip for it, just installed new engine and tyranny mounts, new shift linkage and bushings, clutch only has 300 miles, all new brake lines, otherwise it's currently a daily driver and ongoing project.
I'm really looking for the perfect size fit for wheels, ,so if anyone can give me some exact numbers (offset/et, height and width combos) for a great look, I'd greatly appreciate it. Currently stock suspension but will be dropping with a maximum of 2-2.5" coils, no bags or hydros (yet anyways). Hopefully I can find some straight used wheels that fit perfectly for cheap because they need tire & need to be refinished, as I'm a coater and my family owns a shop... everyone keep that in mind if you have some 4x100s laying around cheap, or we'll to barter, I'll gladly powder some wheels and/or parts in trade!?
I'm also searching for early valances, front and rear, to mount WITH my current bumpers(diving boards), so if anyone has or knows of any, from a 325is, 325e, m-tech, or aftermarket, I'd love to know about it.
