    OZ Futura update!

    OZ Futura update!

Okay, here's a small write up about my OZ Futura Project rims...

Cleaned the rims, they were to dirty to handle

Had some problems with the carbon centerrings of the centercaps being in the worst state. Had a ring to OZ in the Netherlands and they said that the rings are not on stock any more

So of to the custom way... Took over the original rings in the computer and of the to the waterjet! This is the result : 1 on 1 copy in 2 mm stainless steel!

Well and then the last update since yesterday... OZ having special bolts, so got in touch with a company that took the rims a part... up to the fun part now! Time for cleaning the rim lips en centers!

    Hope you enjoyed reading this

    Cheers!

    MelloYello

And I am not sure what to do with the rim lips. Stick with the 7,5J or go wider...

Greetings fellow dutch-man Ik kom uit het Westland. De regio onder Den Haag, waar de kassen staan . ( My location : Westland )
Gunmetal would look nice too, and wider is always better
I'm from Gouda, so we're actually quite near to eachother.

They're actually not all that bad... you just gotta attack them slow and careful. I've got some experience driving over there and while you certainly have many speedbumps in the Netherlands, I've seen worse. I've driven cars with around 5cm ground clearance over the typical dutch speed bumps no problem... maybe some slight scraping, but nothing extreme.

Also, thanks for that link, going to look at that. I'd like to add a few dutch or belgian shows to my planned shows this year... also going to snoop around that forum a bit... I can at least understand half of what they're writing there, haha. The joys of having languages that are so similar... If you know German and English, you can at least read dutch with passing understanding, haha.
