Yea I have been looking all over for wheels. So hard to find. Have any in mind? I know about Watanabes, but any others you know of?Originally posted by codytheoutlaw View PostNice. There aren't a lot of new wheels to choose from, but there are a lot of 80's wheels in good offsets that look amazing on these cars.

regret selling mine... :/
Small update:
I have been very busy with school just starting up for me and work, so I haven't been able to work on the car as much as I wanted to. Just finished putting on new rear brakes, nothing special just something to get her moving as previously the brakes were locked up. I am waiting for a hard line to come for my clutch master cylinder so i can finally get her completely put together and start her up to see if there are any other problems.
In the meantime while I am waiting for that, I have been looking around for wheels. I have found a couple:
Watanabe Type R in 15x8 possibly

but considering that I am in college and this is a low budget build, those are most likely out of the question, at least for now.
That's when I came across these

Nemoto rising stars 15x7.5
Now the brand is from what I understand fairly new but they are crazy cheap, only $99 each wheel.
They also have them in 13x7 with a deep dish for $ 140 each, which is still a steal.

What do you guys think of them? I'm seriously considering them.

I want to go lower, a lot lower, but not to the point that I'm scraping. At least not yet.
I've been looking at Techno Toy Tuning coilovers. I'm not sure how low they will bring me, but I figure that's a good start.
Regarding wheels, I'm not really sure what I want yet. I have to look around and see what there is, not a whole lot in 4x110 bolt pattern. If you have any suggestions that would be awesome.

Thanks dude. It's come a long way in a short time. But this thread is about your car!Originally posted by Grossy View PostThanks, and I love your FC! The thing is so nice.
Have you given much thought to what you're going for stance wise? How you're gonna do it? I know ere aren't many stances FB's. The few that managed to achieve the slam choose steelies and usually become pretty popular pretty quick.
I've always wanted a FB but could never fit in one comfortably.

85 rx7
So I've been lurking around on here for a few months now and figured i would finally make a thread for my car.
I have a 1985 rx7 in tender blue metallic (original paint). Bought it off a guy for $1500, it was garage kept.

It had been sitting for about 10 years so it needed some cleaning.

Only rust on the body and its only surface rust

Brakes are locked up, clutch slave cylinder and master cylinder need to be replaced.
And how she sits today

Hopefully I will get her running by next weekLast edited by Grossy; 08-22-2013, 07:53 AM.Tags: None
