Yeah...I just found a really good deal on an E30 325is (as in, basically free). My first thought it..."sell the jetta and dump the cash into the E30?"

    Makes sense to me!

yeah, i was on the fence about what color to go with...(they're Brocks, btw) and colormatching came down to a last minute decision. some days i love 'em, some days...not so much. definitely not getting rid of the wheels, and i just found out my powdercoating guy does a real good job with a CNC machine. so, i'm thinking of machining the lip and changing up the color for next season.

btw...not too many people rep dn'b these days. kudos! how's the "scene" out in AZ? it's pretty much dead in NY. i come from the golden era when Konkrete, Camo, Direct Drive were all pumping out heavy weeklies. now? pssssh. sad.

Thanks...wheels are Brock B2. 18.5f and 18x10r. I've had 'em so long, I forgot the offsets...but, they may be et15'ish in front and 30 in the rear.

Nice cars man, respect for them both being clean. What wheels are on the Mk4? Specs? Love the color.

    Greetings from Eastern LI

So, here's my first post. Coming from Vortex and Bimmerforums, Stanceworks seems a bit more my flavor. Lots of dope cars spanning all different brands is so much cooler than looking at the same ol' crap every day.

That being said, here are my two babies:

I've had the Jetta since 2004. Been through a lot of crap with it, blown engine, blown turbo, flooding, etc...But, it's finally at a stage in which I'm pretty happy with it.

p.s. it's a bit lower since these photos were taken.

I bought the E46 originally to be my daily since I was using a pretty beat up E34 525i that was just looking...meh. Since I moved out of NYC and out onto Long Island, that plan has changed and I'm slowly starting to build it. It's definitely the more fun to drive out of the two, and I'm pretty much fed up with forced induction at this point. Every time I turn around, the Jetta has a vac or boost leak somewhere. Hahaha...

Plans for the E46 at this point are: wheels (which, holy crap...the classifieds section here is SO much nicer than over at Bimmerforums) some body work and possibly a bit of engine mods. It's pretty much bone stock with OEM upgrades at this point (LED tails, smoked light stuff, etc etc)

Anyway, happy to be here...I'm gonna go drool over some cars now.
Working...
