Just had the E30 into my garage for the weekend. 325 engine and auto box out - 535 engine and 5 speed box IN. YEEHA. Still need to do all plumbing electrics propshaft an zorst.
But I'm pleased with my weekends work.
I have a complete brand new air bag plug and play kit sat in my garage to be fitted to the E30 once the engine transplant is finished. I will start a new thread for that project.

Hey guys I'm at work and posting from my iPhone. Not quite sure how to post pics on here - feel free to let me know. I believe E30 tourings are rare in some parts of the world - plenty of em in the uk and cheap as anything.
I built myself a lotus 7 type 2 seater from scratch. Built the space frame chassis, all the suspension wishbones and 5 linked rear axle - running a Kawasaki ZX11R engine and 6 speed box, and a Quaife reversing gearbox. Tell me how and I will post some pics of that one. Still own it and it's a blast to drive.
