Thanks guys I feel like I've found kind of a new home here. Thanks for the props on the van its one of those love it or **** type of things. As for the Taurus, it was my grandmothers car and was left to me in her will. It only has 60,000 miles on the clock and as of right now is my only "nice car". I dont plan on spending much on the car I scored a complete bag setup (compressor, valves, bag struts, etc) for 450 bucks and the wheels were 100. So my thinking is if I can have a slammed taurus wagon for 600 bucks or so, why not? I am however on the look out for a wrecked mk5 jetta. As for the "must be doing alot of the work my self question/comment, Yes I am doing almost all of the work myself. Again Thanks for the warm welcome.

nice whips. i like the idea of making the taurus badass but also, maybe like this guy said, spend the money on the other rides
embarrassing Taurus is embarrassing Taurus
you must be doing a lot of work yourself im guessing?

I like your thinking too, but honestly dont spend a cent on that ford taurus, use the money for better things for your other two cars or sell the taurus and use the money for a new car.

Hey all. Another new guy here. I have been checking out this forum pretty religiously for the last few weeks since a friend showed it to me. I have a few projects in the works Im afraid most of them are not exactly SW friendly, but hell I'll post them anyway.
I have a 1961 ford econoline van that is an on going project. It doesn't look to low but it is a static drop of about 3.5 inches, and Im about a half inch off the bumps in the back.

My current big project is a 1959 buick... It has bags all four corners and will be about an inch lower.

And then the laphing stock of the neighborhood, the biggest challenge I have ever had to undertake... Is it even possible to make it cool? We'll find out.

I have a set of Jaguar x type wheels that are going on it in the next couple weeks, and then air ride. Why?...Why not?Tags: None
