  • get jetta even lower?

this is a question for my freind. how can you get a 97 jetta even lower with stock struts? its already lowered about 4inches on stock struts with about 1inch of travel in the front.

he already has ebay adjustable locking collars. which brand would you recommend for the front? basically something cheap and that can go very low. :
edit: i also herd something about mk1 or mk2 strut mounts can also lower and mk3?

just get raceland coilovers... I think you can get them for around under $400 bucks if you look in the right places... Or, buy my B&G's! Ill let em go for 800... I paid 1500 and they only have like 5-7 thousand miles on them... lifetime warranty too

Damn i can buy JOM coilovers for 180 euro's here... 2 year warranty YES 4 pieces
its europe... AMI parts are expensive here...

I know to lower with STD schocks and springs but the schockers will DIE in 4000km
start leaking and bouncing. there are bonrath spring covers which lower by 1 cm extra

My EX vw passat on cheapy coilovers..

i just read something about using an mk1 rabbit strut insert in an mk3 strut. they said it would work just how the koni inserts work.

will those get the front low enough for the driveshaft to hit the frame?

                            and imo cheaper then 300$

just get the rokors or racelands or vmaxx whichever you can find, way better than any strut and spring contraption you have on there now
