  • Something different: Peugeot 106

    Fresh from the other side of the pond, and then some.
    Peugeot 106, 97 'Reg. 1.5Diesel. Most have never heard of or seen anything like it but where I'm from it's a great starter car, cheap and economic

    Initial goal was stance some odd four years ago but apparently this isn't a 'fun' scene anymore and it's all about how much you've spent and how much negative camber you're running as opposed to the guy round the corner with his ready-made aftermarket parts to go low and wide as much as possible so yeah, it's evolved into a balance between form and function.

    How it started, when I first got it;
    /

    How it stands, as of a few weeks ago;

          Thanks.

          Saving pennies for a set of coilovers (if I get coilovers); it'll have to do for now.

                    Haha, welcome! I agree, but I'm excited to see where this goes.

                      So am I. Hopefully no cheque books will be harmed during this build!

                        Welcome from one SW noob to another.

                        That things needs a drop, and a quite big one at that.

                        I love the 106; would kill for a 106 gti stateside.

                            Yes it does. As soon as I take it to the bodyshop & get it back I'll be focusing on the stance. I'm thinking 55-60mm on the front & then level the rear.

                            A stateside GTI would be mental!

                            If only everything was as easy to do as a flower necklace

                              Definitely a different platform than most on here, but I dig it! I'm a sucker for euro econo-cars haha looking forward to seeing it stanced.
