  • BBS LM or CK for c30?

    Guys,

    Need some assistance deciding on two offers for wheels I currently have. I own an 'o9 Volvo c30 on KW coilovers.

    Both are used sets, that are in mint condition.

    Options are:

    BBS LM
    Rear: 18x8.5 ET +25
    Front: 18x8 ET +35
    clr = Silver
    $2999.00CAD no tires
    LINK

    BBS CK
    All: 19x8 ET +42
    clr = Anthracite
    $2300.00CAD w tires
    LINK

    Currently, my OEM Atreus wheels are 18x7.5 ET +52.5. If I were too purchase the LMs, there would be some serious rubbing that I would have to tackle.

    I have a feeling everyone is going to say LM, which is what I'm leaning towards. I'll take some photos of my car this evening, so you can see my current setup.

    Thanks,
    Jason

            First, let me just start off by saying I love C30's. I almost bought a blue one a while back with intentions of slamming it on some CCW's, but the dealership wouldn't budge on my trade in so I took my business elsewhere and wound up with a different turbocharged 4-cyl

            Anywho, i'm privy to the LM's. I think they look much better and come in better offsets. Do it!

                        LM's without a doubt.

                          So, with the dimensions I posted for the LMs, can anyone suggest what size tires, and what brand of tires would be best to stretch on these wheels?

                            Test fitment. (Only buying the wheels, not the tires, I'll have to source my own, which is what I'll have to do for some stretch. 205/40s?) Might also have to dial in some negative camber on the rears.

                            Please, would love some suggestions on tire brands suited for stretching, and recommended sizes. 205/40 would still be in manu spec for the front's at 8", but would be out 0.5" on the rears at 8.5".

                              LMs are dope, but that price is high. For that price you could get some CCWs or Image wheels custom made with more aggressive width and offset.

                              For tires on these, if you go 205/40, put that size on the rear as well, just a lil more stretch.

                              Where ever you end up the car will look ill.
