coilovers?

i had a set of hottuning coilovers on my mk3 jetta the strut was bottoming out ,so i ordered some rokkors 4 my girls cabby and they ride nice but when i got some rokkors 4 my jetta the r bouncey as fuck. it is a vr6. the rokkor spring rates are f380 r300. the hottuning ones are f627 r1008. could i put the hottuning springs on the rokkor struts
