  • E30 Late Rear Inner Fender Bump

Can you hammer the shit out of the late rear inner fender bump or will it distort the quarter panels? I can't find anyone actually posting about doing this and it's only hinted at in a few threads.

I'm running 16x8 +5 square w/ 205/45-16 on GC coilovers with KYB AGX - haven't sectioned the strut housings yet but when I do I'm removing the rear adjusters at the same time. Rear rubs the bumps on hard cornering as it is so it can only get worse from here.

I really want to lower my Prelude but how to I get it quite low (not below 10cm) without dramatically changing the handling for the worst.

I've done it. BE VERY CAREFUL! It takes just one hit extra hammer hit from "all the way flat" to screw your paint! Once that bump is touching the outer quarter panel its just waiting for you to think it needs just one more hit!
