  • Extending Viair hoses

    Hi all

Im planning on hiding all the management for my air ride and just have the tank showing.

The problem is that the standard hoses that are supplied with the Viair compressors are short but atleast 2ft.

I would move the tank but i want to use all the space i can and keep it practical.

So really my question is can i extend them and where can i get the correct hose so my compressors can reach the tank?

    Cheers Dan

You could extend the leader hoses by attaching a 1/4" NPT to whatever PTC fitting and just use some DOT air line to run to the tank.

Since Viair check valves and leader hoses don't tend to be the best, however, I would just build a complete new leader hose with an SMC check valve and a PTC fitting.

          Good deal.

With twin comps, I don't think you're going to have a heat issue, but I'd just recommend keeping the air lines away from the compressor housings. Should be easy, since you've got loads of room under there.
