  • My Bucket

Well I've been a member for a couple weeks and most of you already know my car but I figured I'd throw a quick build thread together anyway. When I bought this car from AndreNY it was on VN-Lines/pss9s/and needed quite a bit of body work. I took what he started and ran with it (Last visually modded car I will ever buy-live and learn I guess.) I recently redid the headliner in brown alcantara, installed high performance coils, switched to fks, and bought BBS LMs as my temp wheels so I could put something together for 2010 (the VN-lines got boring and old).

The current mod list is as follows:

    Exterior:
Boser Hood (Stock Hood - Metal Extension)
    Shaved Roundels
    Custom Flared Fenders
    Custom Flared Quarters
    DDM e39 M5 Front Bumper w/fogs
    Hella Headlights
Hella Euro Amber Celis LED tails with Ballast retrofit (done the correct way)
    OEM Euro Decklid
    6k Low beam HIDs
    6k Fog HIDs
    Shadowline Trim
    Authentic AC Schnitzer Sport mirrors
    Full Respray

    Wheels/Tires:
    19x10/19x8.5 BBS LMs
    Falken 452's

    Interior:
    Brown Alcantara Headliner
    e46 M3 SMG wheel
    e46 ZHP Shift knob
    K40 Stealth Radar Detector front/back
E39 m5 cluster rings and needles

    Audio (DSP):
    Infinity Kappa 5-1/4s in front
Infinity Kappa 5.1 Tweeters in front
Infinity Kappa 5-1/4s in rear shelf
    Elemental Designs Nine.4 Amplifier
2 Elemental Designs 10 inch subs

    Performance:
Bavarian Autosport High Performance Ignition coils
    Zechanhausen CDV delete
    Magnaflow High flow cats
    Magnaflow Muffler
    Resonator Delete
    Superchips chip and ECU re-flash
    Rogue Ultimate Short Shifter
K&N Drop In High-Flow Air Filter

    Suspension:
    FK Stainless Coilovers

The LMs will be going up for sale sooner then later as I think I decided what wheels I want to run next. Some pics of the car since i've owned it:

VN-Lines (right after my paint job):

Mitos (That I was told were 3piece and planned on widening but ended up being 2piece):

    Mparrs:

    LMs (its current state):

Next thing im doing is switching to a smaller tire up front and adding 30mm spacers Then I'm selling the LMs before winter and having 18x11.5 18x10 goodness built. I also hope to have the nose resprayed before H20. Hope you all enjoy the car. I wish I had someone local to me that can take good pictures because I can't.

Wow, the last shot really makes me like the way the LMs look on the car.
Still, my fav look was with the Schmidts.

    Great car.

your car looks amazing. Its good to see someone else from the Boston area on here. I am just not a big fan of Boser Hoods, but too each their own. Great job

and so damn heavy. 65lbs a wheel with tires for the 19x10s. Didn't even bother checking the rears.

                    Thanks guys.

I have always loved this car....... and I **** to say it, but I like the VN Lines best too. Any teaser on what wheels are next, besides the specs?
