  • Compressors not turning on....

autopilot v2 with 2 compressors setup from bagriders

compressor wont go on, controller works, i can manaully fill the tank up with a shop compressor from the a tire spot

last time this was happening i had a bad ground and kept blowing fuses, that is not the problem this time around...

Can someone point out maybe some things to look for?

all the wires seem to be okay no crimps or rips

    any feedback is appreciated

I had this problem last week...I found 3 possible causes which I fixed at once so I`m not sure which was the fault:

A slider that sends a signal from the ECU wasn`t crimped well

I had a short in the shifter (car is a coloumn shift) which was drawing current)

Or else check for pinched air lines, I`m not sure if a pinched line will stall the system from making the compressor work but its something worth checking anyways

Can the compressor turn on at all? Aka via Hotwire? If so do a relay check by applying 12v on the trigger, if your relay clicks well then it could be a bad pressure sensor

              Update...

I got a replacement air management manifold and controller from airlift... the first night i put it in it re calibrate it went back to normal till the next morning until i parked outside of work came back to the car and the tank read 0 but for an odd reason i was still able to air up in manual mode

i thought maybe i had a leak maybe check valves went bad

i sent my compressors to viair they updated with new check valves and took a look at the compressors if they had any problems

Just got my compressors back from viair put everything back together and still my tank reads 0 compressors are fine, no leaks in the hoses and tank, i let it run for a minute (running 2 444s they used to fill.up the tank in less than 4 mins) turn the car off and i can use the cap on the tank to press against the tank nipple to see if there really is no air in the tank

              tank has hella air

is this another bad manifold again?

              Anyone else had this problem?

Hm, what are you using for the ignition source? It's very odd that you keep running into the same issue.
