    Hi how are you guys?
Need some info. Cant find a decent set of lowering springs for my mercedes.

Id like to cut my springs not sure of how many coils to chop off.
If anyone did so on the same car please would you post pictures of your ride and how many coils did you chop off

If you're using stock springs, i'd say start off with 1.5 coils and then slowly cut it by .5 increments until you have the height you desire.
If anything you shouldn't surpass 3 coils ever.

your going to need to cut about half/ 3/4 the spring to be dumped. These springs are under incredible pressure. Be careful when removing them.

This is with lowering springs 2.5 coils cut up front and 3 in the rear. my buddies car we cut about 3.5 front and back and its a tiny bit lower. Just cut a coil put it back in see how it sits and go from there.
