I'm looking for some advices on piecing a kit together and I want to approach it in a cost effective manner.

What are the parts in a number of air management kits that are considered "universal"?

I understand the viair compressors and air tanks are pretty much universal (except the port sizes). What else?

In my situation I'm looking to save on shipping fees (especially customs) from US to Canada. Can I buy this kit (http://www.ebay.ca/itm/AccuAir-eLevel-VU4-Manifold-iLevel-Complete-Management-Kit-Air-Ride-Suspension-/261210079552?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3cd1558140&vxp=mtr) then purchase the air tank and compressors locally? Both of these I believe are the heaviest in every kit.

Are there any drawbacks? Anything else I should be considering?

Thanks!

email the guys at Bag Riders. They'll put together a complete kit and ship it to you and everything.

Get in touch with Kevin at air assisted in Toronto, he usually has pretty good prices compared to shipping lower cost parts from the States.

OP, where in Canada are you from? We're right across the border if you're on the east coast :eyebrows
