  • E39 2000 Bmw540i looking for a good stance without fender work

I'm new to the site and I'm looking to Lower my E39. Really don't want to do fender work right away just wanna have the low stance.

Fender work really depends on the wheels you're putting on it.

From my experience biggest you can fit on the rear of an e39 without fender work is around 9.5 with around a +20 offset ( which is pretty standard for BMW wheels). There is a little bit more room in the front i think. Tires are also a big factor.

You're not gonna get a ton of poke with that though, i'd highly recommend rolling your fenders as the lips on these cars are pretty substantial and you can gain a lot of room just by rolling the inner lips flat.
Don't know anything about isc's other than they get low.

It really comes down to how low+wide you want to go.
        Hope that helps!
