  • Euro Ford appreciation thread

I figured since I saw an "everyone else" appreciation thread, I'd give some love to my Euro Ford brethren and maybe convince some of you'uns it's done, Cossie style:

Plenty more where that came from.

Keep them coming. American fords are a shame on European made Fords. My pops had an 81 Fiesta on Gold wheels and that thing was sticky and planted, my brother also had a 4 door escort but not the cosworth, I always loved the mark v's.

Ive always loved the escorts and sierras from europe. I too had a nucle with a old fiesta with dual webers on old bbs rims back in the mid 80s to this day i love hatches. When he would drop that car down a gear on the highway the webers opened up...such a beautiful sound
I was born with nothing and still have most of it left

Is there any difference between those sierras and the american equivalent? From what I can tell, those can be picked up for a pretty good price.

There are a thousand differences, but most parts are interchangeable/adaptable. The American equivalent has the same body shell as the Euro Sierra XR4i, but as I said, many things are transferable.
