  • Insurance BMW.

So, I am already looking at second cars, and I can't even drive yet!

I have fallen in love with the 1999 E36 M3! You can get them for £3,000!

I was wondering what you lot think the insurance would be around? Based on a garaged car?

Being 15, when you do finally turn 17, about twice that of the sale price

For a 17 year old? Crippling.

I struggled to get insurance for a 1.2l Subaru Justy when I was 17. They were asking for £5K! The cars only worth about £300-500!

3 years is a long time bro. insurance prices could double by then. stick to the mini, you will have no chance on BMW till yer at least 20 let alone a m3...

Your insurance goes down a lot when you reach 21.

Pass your test, learn to drive, then maybe consider an M3. No point getting it then wrapping it round a tree the next day!

Keep a close eye on insurance prices - a lot of places are turning down under 25s now for classic cars.

                              I'm a grand on a 1.2 Subaru Justy.

There was a guy on my local Mini forum, Modified Mini, 1.7 Rover engine, coil-overs etc...£263 quid! All mods declared....and not even using his no claims. Said it would be under £150 if he was 25.

                              Insurance company was http://www.frankpickles.co.uk/

                              Might be worth ringing him?
