So I've got an E28 with an M50 dropped in (much fun!) but I'm trying to get a nice wheel setup atm, but to be able to use the car too. I've done the reallly stanced thing, and I want to be able to get out there and drift this year.
The wheels in question are Dodge Calibre steels. Boring huh? Not when they're banded! The fronts are 9J ET6 and the rears are 9.5J ET0, tyres are 205/40's and 225/45's.
BUT the wheels are 5x114.3, and the BMW is obviously 5x120. So looking at PCD adaptors, but that is another 15mm, giving me a fitment of 9J ET-9 and 9.5J ET-15. Hmmm, will they fit?
What do you all think? Can it be done? Would it be totally stupid? What is good width/offset normally on an E28?
I'm getting fed up looking for nice wheels cheap, so might just get some 16" VW van steels and get them banded.
